Previously worked with with Brooklyn Beats (AKA Mental Madness), U-NEQ Productions, Talents of World and Subassembly records labels having tracks featured on multiple compilations. Uncles has also worked on tracks with singers including Hema Dangi (Kaki), Natalie Rose & Jan Johnston. Previously working under the alias W0n Theory, now using new alias DZIA for future projects.
Having recently graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music with a First Class Honours in Professional Sound Production, Uncles is now focusing on gaining experience and working on audio projects within the Film, Television and Games industry.
During his time at ACM, Uncles gained experience using a variety of programs and plugins. Learning about recording techniques; understanding what type of microphone, polar pattern, recording technique & placement is needed in order to obtain the desired sound.
Composition techniques were also taught, learning about scores, spotting techniques and music theory. Through the years, Uncles worked on many projects to media, consisting of game-play, movie scenes and advertisements. Unity was also used to learn audio programming for games.
Having now released music on multiple labels as well as working with a range of singers Uncles is most experienced in music production, He is exploring other mediums such as music for films, advertisement and games.
Uncles also has good knowledge/ been involved with:
- Working on various paid/unpaid projects in both games and film.
- Working in various teambased environments such as recording, mixing for bands.
- Mixing & Mastering using DAW's and Digital/Analogue desk's (SSL)
- Field recording & collecting impulse response, ambience, Foley etc.
Using a wide range of software over the last 5 years to complete the task at hand, Uncles is continously honing his skills in industry recognised software and other mediums such as:
- Pro tools, RX5 Advanced Audio Editor, Reaper, Logic Pro, Wwise, Unity, Unreal Engine, Nuendo 5 & FL Studio.
- Plugin's such as FM8, Absynth, Kontakt 5, Reaktor 5, Sylenth1, Nexus & many more.
Uncles also has knowledge in other none music related programs such as:
Adobe Muse, Photoshop & Fireworks (which were used in the creation of this website)
